found that the “implicit flexibility for taking time off” is more appealing to people than any other work perk or benefit. After speaking with hundreds of physical therapists about their hopes, dreams, and frustrations in their work environments,
we believe this concept applies to PTs as well. If there’s one thing that comes up again and again in those conversations—it’s time.
Whether it’s a lack of time away from the clinic, not enough quality time with patients, too little time between patients, a general lack of control over their own time, or the grueling amount of time spent on administrative tasks and documentation, today’s
